I was invited by Maya Kitchen in Makati City to cover Chef’s Gen D. Capati of Cookbook Kitchen cooking demo. Attending these kind of events will make you learn a lot of tricks in cooking, a lot of tips that can be applied in handling the kitchen and a whole lot more.
Chef Gen prepared Boston Poached Fish, CBK Chiken, Eggplant Medly and Pasta Al Adobo and Chef Kittin, partner of Chef Gen in business, taught us how to make a Decadent Chocolate Rum Cake and gave us some important tips in baking.

It’s almost end of the month and my groceries are almost emty! Been thinking of what to do with my unused groceries and all I can think of from what I see is…. Tuna Macaroni Salad! hmmmmmm YAHOO!
Here’s what I have:
Ingredients:
1/2 kg of Del Monte Pasta Salad Macaroni
2 cans of Century Tuna flakes in Vegetable oil
1 Medium sized red onion minced
1 & 1/2 tbsp of Pickle relished
5 tbsp of Lady’s Mayonnaise
Salt, Pepper and sugar to taste!

Aglio Olio Pasta is one of the most easy pasta recipe to do. All you have is to cook the pasta the right way for you and toss them to the oil sauce and that’s it. But sometimes we have to use our creativity in cooking this recipe like adding more spice or some toppings to make it more tastier.
Here’s my version of Aglio Olio Pasta.
1kg Spaghetti cooked and drained
1 Bottle of extra virgin olive oil
4 large elephant garlic heads finely chopped
2 tbsp of lemon juice
2 tbsp of dried basil leaves finely chopped
salt and pepper to taste
Parmesan cheese grated
