If you are familiar with Manila Hotel’s Chinese fine-dine Mabuhay Palace, this coming July 27, 2013 at the Maya kitchen, the Executive Chinese Chef, Chef Sun Bing and the Chinese Operations Manager and Executive Chinese Sous Chef Josephine Yu Tangaco-Candelaria will be showing some of their expertise in Chinese cuisine.
About the Featured Chefs
Chef Sun Bing graduated from Beijing Culinary School and worked at Beijing hotel after he graduated. He’s been in the Philippines since 1988 and worked for some well known hotels here in Manila. Aloha Hotel, Mandarin Oriental and The Manila Hotel.
Chef Tanganco-Candelaria has been with Manila Hotel since 2009. She was previously with Mandarin Oriental Hotel and intercontinental Manila.
The two chefs will be demonstrating Vegetarian ‘Peking Duck,’ Shrimp Laced with Almonds, Anchovies with Water Chestnuts Fried Rice, Stir Fried Chicken Glazed with Soya Sauce, West Lake Fish Soup and Chinese Red Bean Pancake.
