Iloilo’s Dinagyang Festival 2016 Schedule

Iloilo’s Dinagyang festival is one of the most awaited events here in the Philippines. The last time I was there to attend Dinagyang was January 2011 and I can’t wait to go back there again to watch and experience the festival. Dinagyang festival is celebrated every 4th Sunday of January in Iloilo City.

I had to make an early bookings for my flight from Manila to Iloilo City and back and my hotel accommodations for more cheaper expenses, because when you book you flights and hotel accommodations days before the festival, chances are you’ll get  expensive flights and ran out of cheap and affordable hotel rooms.

I really had a great time the last time I was there. Iloilo City is so secured and convenient, from food to transportation and their  hospitality. The reason why I want to go back there is, aside from the festival itself, Iloilo is also renowned for their food dishes and desserts! like their La Paz Batchoy , Pansit Molo, barquillos, Pinasugbo, butterscotch and many more! I terribly miss them.

There are many great places to see in the city and nearby places. Like visiting old churches, mansions, restaurants and cafes! You’ll surely love the place and their events.

January 23
