Summer time especially holy week is the best time to bond with the family. Why not spend it to a place where everyone can enjoy? Since it’s summer time; and time is gold, I would prefer spending it somewhere near Manila.
I would also like to spend time my family away from crowd, especially in common places like Tagaytay or Baguio, they are too common and crowded during peak season. Who would like to spend a vacation to a stress-free, peacful, magnificent place? Yes it’s a lil bit costly to spend time in these kinds of places but worth it.
There’s a place that I can recommend,...

Before anything else, here are some tips to prepare yourself for a scenic and solemn trip.
Bring a map with you at all times, especially if you are not familiar with the place.

A good resort or a hotel becomes better if it has a fantastic chef, a culinary artist who has divine taste for food. He/she would definitely attract more tourists and food lovers alike. I say such because I believe it is part of every tourist agenda to experience local food during their travels. The more popular fast food joints becomes a mere fallback.
We stayed at Amorita Resort during my visit to Bohol. It is considered one of the best resort-hotel in the province. We had the pleasure of meeting Chef Ralph “Paeng” Ongchico, who was currently assigned as head chef of the resort during...

I’ve been to a lot of festivals around the country. In January, there’s the Dinagyang Festival in Iloilo, the Ati-Atihan Festival in Kalibo and the Sinulog Festival in Cebu.
Come February, there’s the Kalilangan Festival in General Santos and then the Moriones Festival in Marinduque during Holy Week.
Of course there’s the Pahiyas Festival in Lucban and the Pintados Festival in Tacloban among others.
Yes, I’ve been to a lot of festivals around the country. And I can honestly say that it’s in Bacolod, where I see the sweetest smiles.
If you’re wondering why I...

I do agree on their tourism slogan — Fantastica Bohol.
The place is so great that it met or perhaps surpassed my expectations. Everything was magnificent. Bohol houses, the finest beaches, a beautiful man-made forest, the majestic Chocolate Hills, and the tarsier, which is the smallest primates in the world, to name a few.
There are many things Bohol is known for, not just the tarsier and the Chocolate Hills. Like this beautiful man-made forest.
When you get there, you may want to visit the old baroque styled churches, taste the original broas (lady fingers) of Osangs, shop at Senen and Irma...
