A few weeks ago, I was strolling inside South Supermarket in Alabang when I saw this food tasting booth. The booth was giving away food samples of beef yakiniku salad. I got interested because I’m always looking for different types of salads that I can prepare for dinners as part of my diet. So I approached the booth and tried their beef yakiniku salad sample, which tasted great – I love them! The staff at the booth gave me some recipe leaflets, and so I decided to buy the ingredients so I can try the recipes at home. Beef Yakiniku Salad Recipe Ingredients: 200gms U.S. Beef for yakinuku 2...

My trainer said I should avoid carbs during dinner and instead, replace it with any veggie salad so I could lose weight faster. Having grilled meat, especially fish, or seared shrimps along with it is okay – but not fried. I was wondering before why salads are usually so expensive versus typical meat dishes. Here’s what I found out: Vegetables...

We were recently invited by friends to try out the newly opened Market Basket located at the new wing of Festival Mall, the River Park. I’ve never been there before but I already see this area with lots of construction activities whenever I pass around Corporate Avenue in Filinvest, Alabang. Anyway, the name of the restaurant is “Market Basket”, which is a Dampa-style restaurant. It’s different from the original Dampa because it’s cleaner and more sophisticated. Dampa, if you’re not familiar, is a type of restaurant in the Philippines where you can market for, and...
